May 8th: Another COVID-19 Update for Our Patients
As we continue to monitor the developments of COVID-19, we wanted to pass along some information about what our office has been doing to prevent the spread of germs, in an effort to keep our staff, patients, and community at large, safe and healthy.
We want to reassure you that we have been doing everything we can to keep our environment clean and complying with local, state, and federal standards and recommendations.
This includes:
Increase to Cleaning and Sanitizing
While we already had processes in place to maintain cleanliness, we have increased the extent and frequency. Our exam rooms are cleaned between every patient. We are also cleaning and wiping down all waiting rooms, front desks, and common areas, as well. We are being all the more cautious now.
Use of Personal Protective Equipment/Hand-washing
Our staff is using gloves and masks, and we are requiring all patients wear masks at all times, as well. Our medical staff also thoroughly washes their hands before and after every single patient.
Social Distancing Within-Office
Our spacious waiting rooms are very accommodating to social distancing and we have made it even easier by marking chairs 6’+ distance-wise as a guide for our patients. You don’t have to worry about waiting in a crowded waiting room. You will have space and peace of mind while preparing for your visit with our doctors.
Promoting NJ Dept of Health Guidelines
Our office has encouraged both staff and patients to follow the guidelines recommended by the NJ Dept of Health which include: wash hands often with soap and water (if not available, use hand sanitizer); avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands; avoid contact with people who are sick; stay home while you are sick and avoid contact with others; and cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or sleeve when coughing or sneezing.
Additionally, we are screening patients for symptoms/possible COVID-19 exposure on the phone when scheduling appointments and again, in-office, once they arrive. Finally, we are encouraging our staff to stay home if they are not feeling well.
Offering Telemedicine
While our office remains open for those requiring in-person care, we recognize that it is not safe for everyone to venture out of their homes right now. Because of this, we have implemented a telemedicine program to allow patients to see their doctors from the safety of their own homes. Schedule a telemedicine (or in-person) appointment here.
This is a stressful time for everyone, and we know that living with pain is an added stress that no one needs right now. We remain committed to providing world-class pain management care to our patients from our three offices in Hoboken, Jersey City, and Bayonne. Your care - and your safety - are most important to us.
Available services:
Pain Management: in-person + telehealth
Sports Medicine:in-person + telehealth

Please know that we will continue to keep an eye on the situation and follow guidelines to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. Please feel free to call us at (201) 533-9200 or contact us here should you have any questions. We are here for you.
