    BACK, NECK & SPINE PAIN

If you’ve experienced a back, neck or other spine-related injury, you know how the resulting severe, seemingly “untreatable” pain can have a debilitating effect on your daily life. But you don’t have to live in pain. Even if other therapies haven’t helped you, at The Spine & Sports Health Center, we’re sure that we can.

With our unique, “personalized” approach, we effectively treat painful conditions such as: herniated, bulging and torn discs in the neck and mid or lower back; spinal compression fractures and trauma; spinal stenosis; sacroilitis, an inflammation of the joints connecting the lower spine to the pelvis; sciatica caused by pressure on a nerve root exiting the spine; and failed back surgeries, including spinal fusion, laminectomy, discectomy or other major procedures which have not provided the desired relief.

  • ARTHRITIS & JOINT PAIN

    ARTHRITIS & JOINT PAIN

If you’re suffering from the joint pain of arthritis, you’re not alone. In fact, more than 27 million Americans have osteoarthritis, which is usually found in the hips, knees, hands, shoulders, or have spondylosis, which is arthritis of the spine. Whatever its cause, the resulting joint inflammation causes painful swelling and stiffness that can make it difficult to enjoy life and may even cause long-lasting or permanent disability.

While arthritis and joint pain can be extremely uncomfortable, there are a range of highly effective non-surgical treatments that are available at The Spine & Sports Health Center. One of our Board Certified Medical Doctors works closely with you to perform a complete evaluation during your initial consultation, which may also include diagnostic testing.

It’s all part of our “personalized” approach to quality medical care. Here, we believe it’s important that your doctor gets to know your symptoms —and you as a person— to make the most accurate diagnosis.

  • SCIATIC NERVE PAIN

    SCIATIC NERVE PAIN

While most of us view sciatica as a condition, it’s actually a symptom of another problem —such as a herniated disc in your lower back— that is exerting pressure on the nerve root as it exits your spine, causing pain. You can find relief with non-invasive sciatica therapy at The Spine & Sports Health Center.

Sciatica pain caused by a lumbar disc can range from being a minor disruption in your life to becoming downright debilitating. You may experience: constant pain in one side of your buttock or leg; pain that originates in the low back and goes all the way down your leg; more pain when you’re standing or sitting; or numbness, weakness and that “pins and needles” sensation. However, if the herniated disc is in your neck, the resulting pinched nerve may cause you to experience tingling and discomfort in your arm.

At The Spine & Sports Health Center, our Board Certified Doctors evaluate the severity of your injury through diagnostic testing including X-rays, MRI and electrodiagnostic testing to assess the severity of nerve damage.
