July 6th: Massage Therapy to Reopen!

As we have said in the past, as things change with the COVID-19 pandemic, so will we! The Spine & Sports Health Center has remained committed to providing the care we know our patients need. Your care - and your safety - is most important to us.

With that being said, we are very excited to announce that we have made the decision to reopen our massage therapy services with our wonderful massage therapist Christina Ramirez, LMT starting on Monday, July 6th, 2020 in our Hoboken office!

We’ve been actively adapting our environment and protocols to ensure that all of our patients and staff remain healthy and safe. Massage therapy appointments will reopen to members first, and then non-members will be allowed to schedule appointments. All of our massage members will be receiving phone calls in the next few days to get back on schedule. We are operating on a modified schedule at the moment (no Saturday appointments right now), but hope to reopen on Saturdays very soon! We want to remind you that your health and safety is always our number one priority. We have only decided to reopen massage therapy services now because we have the ability to do it safely.

As a reminder, here are some of the things we have been doing to keep our environment clean and complying with local, state, and federal standards and recommendations.

• Increase to cleaning and sanitizing: between patients in exam rooms and in waiting areas
• Strict use of PPE for all staff and patients, at all times
• Social distancing within offices
• Screening patients for possible exposure on the phone and at the office
• Addition of certified HEPA air purifier in massage room
• Implementation of temperature checks
• Installation of plastic screens at all front desks
• Promotion of NJ Dept of Health Guidelines for all patients and staff
• Offering telemedicine
